Canada Trampoline Has Rebranded!
Canada Trampoline Is Now Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment!
Since 2005, our team has been operating as Canada Trampoline Manufacturers (CTM). CTM has provided professional trampoline equipment for personal and commercial use all over the country and internationally! We've recently undergone a brand shift and are now known as Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment. This change reflects our company's commitment to customer service. We are no longer utilizing dealers and are instead focusing on more direct 'manufacturer-to-consumer' sales. This new customer-first focus allows us to offer a much greater level of product customization, the ability for us to provide hands-on assistance to our customers, and has allowed us to offer a dedicated extended warranty program, we're calling CRAZYCare.
With years of experience building trampoline parks and a focus on customer satisfaction, Crazy Ape is poised to revolutionize the backyard trampoline market. Below, we'll take a closer look at these exciting changes and what it means for trampoline enthusiasts here, and across the world!
A Tailored Experience
Crazy Ape's team has extensive experience in building trampoline parks, and their expertise is unparalleled. Armand Konecsni-Luzny, one of the managing partners at Crazy Ape, played a significant role in building Boomers trampoline park, which was located on the outskirts of Regina, and founded APEX Trampoline Park in Saskatoon. Luke Shaheen, Crazy Ape’s other managing partner, sits on the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) board and is helping develop ASTM standards for trampoline parks and trampoline safety worldwide.

Put one in your backyard today!
Today, post-rebrand, Crazy Ape pulls from our depth of experience to offer more than just trampolines. We have begun designing and installing commercial ninja warrior courses, backyard trampoline parks, and crash padding for rock climbing gyms across North America. All of their designs and fabrications are completed and shipped from Saskatchewan, keeping the province's legacy of trampoline manufacturing alive.
Additionally, we are now offering custom colour options, as well as a tailored "tuning option" which allows us to tailor our trampoline's bounce to the specific needs or use case of our individual customers.
COVID-19: A change in focus
With COVID-19 slowing down the company's involvement in Trampoline Park Operations, Luke, Armand, and the Crazy Ape team set out to revolutionize the backyard trampoline market, in order to give those stuck at home the ability to put a trampoline park in their backyard.
July 2022, the company moved to a new manufacturing facility directly in Regina that was three times larger and utilized state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Their innovative efforts and expanding capabilities led to the desire for a brand shift; Canada Trampoline Manufacturers to Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment. This rebrand would allow them to tie together their manufacturing processes with adventure parks, and sell their products directly to customers through online channels without needing a network of dealers.

For years, the company has been manufacturing high-quality products behind closed doors for retailers, trampoline parks, TV shows such as American Ninja Warrior, and live acrobatic performances, such as Cirque du Soleil. If you have ever jumped on a trampoline with blue and green padding growing up, odds are that Crazy Ape built it.
Carrying On A Legacy
Trampoline manufacturing has a rich history in Saskatchewan, Canada, dating back to the late 1970s when John Bergen and his family founded Herbert Industries in Herbert, SK. In those days, trampolines were not readily available in Saskatchewan, so farmers worked tirelessly during the cold Saskatchewan winters to fabricate them. The trampolines they built were sturdy enough to withstand the harsh Saskatchewan climate and are still in use today.
A quick history:
- Herbert starts manufacturing backyard trampolines through Bergen Industries in 1977 and is the first in the Province.
- Herbert moves to Saskatoon, and starts a dedicated trampoline manufactuer called Canuck Trampolines. Between Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canuck is the sole manufacturer until 2000 when the company was sold out of province.
- In 2005, Canada Trampoline is born in order to bring manufacturing back to Saskatchewan. Under the direction of Luke and Armand, would become a leader in manufacturing across the world.
- In April 2023, Canada Trampoline Manufacturers rebrands to Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment and launches their line of Backyard Trampoline Parks.
We are committed to preserving the legacy of trampoline manufacturing in Saskatchewan while continuing to innovate within our field and provide high-quality products.
